TOS RENTAL EQUIPMENT
TOS wire clamp is specially designed and developed to buoyancy (surface or sub-surface) to six stranded mooring wires. Each inlet is conical shaped avoiding bending damage to the mooring wire. In order to prevent the clamp sliding along the mooring wire, while allowing the lay length to vary under tension, the inside (of each clamp-half) is coated with polyurethane. The clamp is easily attached to the mooring wire and is designed to carry large size buoyancy in the built-in bow shackle, preventing the buoy pig tail from twisting around the mooring line. The wire clamp is rotationally stable and the swivel limits the torque effect which is built up in the mooring wire whilst under tension.
TOS is able to provide magnetic particle testing (MPI) job to detect surface and near-surface cracks in ferromagnetic materials. In addition, our trained technicians are able to perform electromagnetic (EMAG) inspection of steel wire rope. It is a non-destructive test that gives detailed insight of the condition of the wire rope, capable to assess the corrosion, abrasion and wire breaks by measuring loss metallic cross section and detecting outer & inner localized flaws.

TOS Team Thermography SurveyThermography is by far the most economical and best way of preventing electrical failures. TOS can provide technical expertise in the use of thermography. Our Technician thermographic surveyors have 20 years of electrical experience, ranging over oil and gas, industrial and domestic electrical systems. Inspection Criteria Our thermographic evaluations are based on the National Electrical Testing Specications (NETA) for electrical equipment. Reports will highlight temperature exceptions. Each exception will be given a priority rating. Exceptions that are considered to require immediate or urgent attention or indicate an unsafe condition will be brought to the attention of the responsible engineer before we leave the site. Supervision Our thermographic inspection service team includes mechanical, electrical, electronic, metallurgical and chemical engineers who can provide guidance in specialized areas.

DRILLING HANDLING TOOLS (API-8B) TOS has extensive experience with this inspection scope, all inspections services are guided by API-RP-8B (Cat. I, II, III and IV). This International Standard establishes requirements for inspection, maintenance, repair on items of hoisting equipment used in drilling and production operations, in order to maintain the safety operation of the equipment.
